As I follow many bloggers and leave comments on their posts, I never get answers back in any of them. I don’t pretend that they will answer each comment, but if they get for e.g 76 comments they reply just once. Also, I have noticed that they follow few other bloggers.

How can new bloggers get attention and new followers if none of the famous bloggers answers back?

New bloggers can get attention by following and interacting with some of the less famous bloggers! Although I agree it’s nice to let famous bloggers know you appreciate their style, I find comments and favorites on less popular bloggers posts’ are more appreciated.

I guess they don’t want to be bother, some of them are really nice and I think the other ones just don’t want to be related with new bloggers.

Reaching out to smaller blogger is definitely going to get more results, as many famous bloggers just don’t need to rely on communication to attract interest anymore. They can just put things up and don’t have to worry about a dialogue. But smaller bloggers (like me!) will usually get back to you. For example, my policy is that if you GFC follow my blog and let me know, I’ll follow you back!

I am not impressed with bloggers who have a million followers.
SOME of them impress me, SOME of them do not.

SOME of the people I follow ARE AMAZING, HIGHLY CREATIVE and UNIQUE and have a few followers and it REALLY makes me wonder why???

I think some people will naturally appeal to the “masses” as they say…

But I find most ( not all) of the ones who are VERY popular and followed extremely boring.

JUST MY OPINION.

I have heavily followed and rarely followed blogs on my list and I love them all..

And to add, it’s just like any other community in the fashion world.

SOME are very snobby, and very skinny and only wear high fashion clothing so they think theyre better.
Yet, there are some who are model perfect and very nice..depends on the person…
And I am not judging anyone..Just saying..

I have been a regular here for over a year now.

As others have said, you can get just as much “attention” by communicating and being friendly with smaller scale bloggers. In fact the people that follow my blog regularly right now are other small-time bloggers who I’ve reached out to.

A lot of the time the volume of comments “famous” bloggers get is just too much to keep up with. If I were getting 50+ comments a day on my posts there’s no way I’d be able to respond to every single one of them in a thoughtful way, AND look at their blogs, AND comment on their blogs in return. It would drive me crazy and I wouldn’t have time to do anything else. Don’t get upset if you don’t always get a comment in return. I would still try to be nice and put thoughtful, engaging comments on their posts. Maybe if they begin to see your name and recognize you as someone who consistently writes nice, well formed comments they’ll try to make time to reply or check out your blog in return.

Honestly, I don’t expect any comments back— even if my comments aren’t as repetitive as the other comments posted previously. I’m pretty sure that for one, it has to be mainly with time. Reading loads of millions of blogs won’t give you time to create or post interesting things in your blog.

Also, I’m sure if they find your blog interesting or if they can relate they would probably follow you. If not, there’s no way to force them to have them start following back. (This is not to say that you’re a terrible blogger. For instance, some people like the writer John Steinbeck and some don’t.)

Some of the “few” bloggers I love following aren’t that famous either, but pretty well known. They can actually write pleasant posts, post tasteful things and are able to share insightful philosophies behind their style, art, creations, etc. Since most of them are pretty busy, I doubt that they would have time to follow me back. The most important part for me is having my comments get posted on their page, so they will know how much I enjoyed reading their writings.

All I can say is ……don’t think about it, just more writing and less following. :D

I agree with all of you when saying that famous bloggers already have their audience and cannot spend time to answer to all of the comments…I don’t expect that either. However, not responding back doesn’t mean they are super busy – their posts are simple with little effort in writing or expressing any thought or opinion at all ( as you might have noticed, most of them just post pictures and that’s all).

Anyway, this was one of my observations and I don’t pay to much attention to it, I just wanted to understand how the blog world works.

Thank you for all your thoughts!
