What’s the best way to take a picture of yourself? It’s always such a clumsy ordeal taking pictures of myself. Friends and other strangers have no idea how to use my camera, or they don’t get the concept of “push the button half way, focus, then push all the way in.”
With tripod and self timer, I hate standing there waiting for it. I get all antsy and it makes me pose strangely. Lots of trial and error.
How does everyone on here do it?

I have this problem too!
I dont have a tripod so I have to find like the perfect spot to set my camera…
but if i asked my family to take a pic of me I would feel awkward!
Im kind of nervous to post pictures of what I wear too just because I dunno _

Being an art student is nice because I have a couple photographer friends at hand. I usually get them to take my picture, and they get to use them for their art as well. If they’re not around I usually get my boyfriend.

usually i use my mini tripod (wanna be joby) but my pictures come out best when i have a real person take them. so i enslave my little sister (muahaha evil laugh) and make her take them.
you just have to find the right person to do it!

sometimes i stand on my toilet and take “full length” pictures of myself, but then i wind up looking cross eyed in the picture because i’m looking at the back of my camera while i’m taking it. so i’d go with a self timer on a stack of books or a desk or something.

Tripod with timer [I still need a remote] or indeedy, the friend/boyfriend/sister/convenient person.
Usually boyfriend, because he somewhat knows how my camera works.
