A few years ago vintage seemed…less than popular and it was incredibly easy to find super cheap finds on eBay. Now, bids for vintage dresses (even non-designer) seem to always be highly competitive. This could just be a personal perception, but vintage pieces seem to be really “in.” Sometimes it is that piece you found by chance in a thrift store, or the vintage splurge from the basement size mecca of a vintage store in downtown Tokyo, but however you find the piece it certainly makes you stand out from the crowd. Because no matter how popular vintage is—it can’t be reproduced. If you find an amazing wiggle dress that fits like a glove, you buy it with the certainty of knowing that you have probably found a one-of-a-kind piece. And ultimately, that feeling is worth almost any price…even painful eBay bidding!
Here some inspiring people wearing vintage finds from all around the world. From Norway to Korea, vintage pieces are found, re-worn, and re-interpreted by a new generation.
